Meet Our Chef - Rick Narasaki

Rick brings with him 15 years of culinary experience, coming to the Ashburner Inn from Atlantic City's Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, where he was the executive chef at EVO restaurant and bar. Rick is a member of the American Culinary Federation and has recently completed his certification at the Executive Chef level. His formal culinary training was conducted at the Art Institute of Philadelphia where he received multiple awards for his culinary skills preparing both hot and cold foods. As a seasoned Saucier, his skill and talent will be showcased in the preparation of a variety of ala minute pan sauces as well as some traditional and eclectic sauces associated with regional cooking from around the world.

Rick is currently compiling a cookbook of regional American recipes including their origins and history.

The original building was completely renovated to add new hardwood floors and soft lighting. The original, exposed brick along with the addition of the antique church pews adds to the eclectic decor. Join us for lunch, dinner or for a late night snack. Our menu features many unique main courses as well as our complete offering of tempting appetizers.

 

The main dining room is completely new and maintains the charming, warm atmosphere present throughout the restaurant. Relax and enjoy lunch and dinner among the company of family and friends. Our friendly hostesses and servers will do their best to make your dining experience pleasurable.

 

Our bar is stocked with top-shelf liquor and a wide selection of beer (bottle and tap). The bar area is equipped with over seven large screen TV's to keep the sports enthusiast content. Sit at the bar or join a few friends at a barside table. We have a staff of professional bartenders every day and night of the week.
